We’re a Yorkshire-based design consultancy working with architects, contractors, developers, and building owners across the UK on all aspects of on all aspects of MEP, renewable energy and sustainable technology.
Industry experience
Our management team has over 50 years of combined industry experience, and we’ve worked on large-scale projects for organisations such as Amazon, Leeds City Council, City of York Council, Harrogate Borough Council and the UK Solar Fund, as well as numerous developers, architects and designers.
Highly qualified
Our design engineers typically focus on building services engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and related fields. Our MEP design engineers focus on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical and renewable technology systems within buildings and infrastructure projects.

Our Mission

Our founders
Jordan Myers
Jordan is a qualified solar and electrical engineer with 19 years of experience. His belief in the importance of environmentally responsible building and systems design led him to found Deseco alongside Ian. Jordan offers our clients practical and commercial advice on renewable energy and MEP design, with a focus on sustainability.
Ian Cunningham
Ian has 41 years of experience as a qualified heating, gas, and mechanical engineer working in both the domestic and commercial sectors. More recently, his passion for technology led him to move into the renewables and sustainability sector, consulting on complex engineering projects.
